    Superb haiku! Try to avoid the word ‘ing’. Choose another word with the same meaning and the same syllable. See if the 1st and 2nd lines make sense then see if the 2nd and 3rd lines have the correct meaning then haiku is perfect. 👍🏻❤️

  4. Perfect ode to Harry Potter Isha. I’ve always written haiku in 5/7/5 syllable count. Not aware of 7/9/7 though.

    I like Haiku because its brevity forces us to economise our words, and you do that justice here, creating a wonderful magical sense, an anticipation that something is about to happen.
